VSP worked with Momlogic.com, a premier destination for mothers online, to promote the importance of eye exams in children. Momlogic hosted a contest on their website for one lucky reader to win $1,000 for their child’s school.
Often times vision issues are misdiagnosed as learning disabilities and with one in four school-aged children having an undetected eye problem, experts recommend they get an annual eye exam as early as 6 months. Find out more about how eye exams can help children succeed in the classroom.

I spy, with my little eye, a new contest from VSP!
Today we launch our brand new “EyeSpy” contest, which gives one lucky person the chance to walk away with a 16GB SlideHD Flip Video Camera. Created to promote the importance of proactive vision care, our EyeSpy challenge is to see how much money you can save with VSP vision insurance.
It’s easy to enter. Just do the following:
- Visit See Much More, find the answer to the question: What is the average amount of money a VSP member can save annually on an exam and glasses?
- Visit VSP’s Facebook Page, click on the “Sweepstakes” tab, fill out the form and enter the savings amount for your chance to win.
- Grab a rabbit’s foot, four leaf clover or whatever luck-giving apparatus you prefer and wait for the winner to be announced on October 6.
The EyeSpy contest will begin today, September 29 and will run through Wednesday, October 6. To qualify, you must be a fan of VSP Vision Care, at least 18 years of age and a legal U.S. resident. The winner will be selected at random by VSP at the end of the contest.

VSP just launched a new, monthly e-newsletter called “EnVision.” Formerly known as “Eye on Health,” we redesigned it, made it more engaging and interactive, and added real-time information and tips on eye health and eyewear fashion – based on feedback received from readers earlier this year.
EnVision will allow VSP members to have easy access to view their benefits, find a doctor, as well as view the hottest trends in eyewear.
Just for fun!
Each monthly edition will highlight a prize to give away to one lucky reader. The prizes range from vacation destinations to the hottest electronic gadgets.

Help @VSPVisionCare reach 3,000 fans on Twitter! For every 100 new followers, VSP will award our “champion” twitter follower a pair of sunwear. Champions can be those who retweet VSP or mention VSP or other creative ways to generate new followers.
VSP Vision Care began a twitter account roughly two years ago to provide useful and topical infomation to the public quickly. Now we’d like to hear from you.

VSP’s Facebook Page and click on the “Signup Form” tab for your chance to win. The contest will begin Tuesday, July 20 and will run through Friday, August 13. To qualify, you must be a fan of VSP Vision Care, at least 18 years of age, a legal U.S. resident and answer one survey question. The winner will be selected at random by VSP at the end of the contest. If the winner of the iPad contest was referred by a VSP employee, and named in the entry form, the employee will win a secondary prize.

The votes are in and the winner of VSP’s Eyewear Makeover Contest is Angela Camacho! Angela received the most votes, out of over 200 Facebook fans. Go, Angela!
She will receive a free comprehensive eye exam from a vsp provider and prescription eyewear or sunwear from designer brands including Fendi, Coach, Calvin Klein and Tommy Bahama. Thank you to everyone who entered, there were some fabulous entries. Congratulations, Angela!

VSP wants to thank its fans, old and new, for simply being a fan. Every week from now to mid-August, VSP will be giving away a free pair of designer sunglasses to one of our lovely fans.
Facebook fan giveaway: Every Friday, we will post a pair of womens and mens sunwear in our Photos Tab, in the “VSP Fan Friday Sunglasses Giveaways” album. Select the photo of the sunwear you desire and you will be automatically entered to win. The winner will be chosen at random and announced that following Monday.
Twitter follower giveaway: Every Wednesday and Friday, @VSPVisionCare will post a special message asking our fans to ReTweet. All our followers who ReTweets our message will be automatically entered to win a pair of designer shades for the hot, summer days.
