This is one of three sponsored guest blog posts to celebrate Sunglasses Day on June 27, 2018.
Sunglasses are a main accessory for me! All year long, the minute I step outside I have a pair of sunnies on! If I don’t have a pair with me, I feel like something is missing. Similar to the way I feel without a red lippie and my pearl studs. My sunnies complete my everyday look! Although I typically wear sunnies most days for style, the main reason they are so important is for eye protection. I know not everyone considers this when picking out a pair of frames so today, I’m sharing my top tips for selecting the perfect summer frames that elevate your style, while protecting your eyes.
My Top Tips for Selecting the Perfect Summer Frames:
- Choose a frame that compliments your face. My face is heart-shaped and more rounded. I can get away with a few oval-shaped frames, but I look best in square-shaped frames. They say that the shape of your frames should be opposite the shape of your face. I have to agree.
- Choose a timeless frame that you can wear for a long time. Certain frames go in and out of style very quickly. I have a few pairs that I have had for years that are still in style today because they were a timeless and classic frame.
- Once you have found the perfect frame, don’t be afraid to invest. Good sunglasses are worth the price. As I said before, I’ve had a few pairs of sunglasses that have lasted me years because they are great quality.
You can protect your eyes and still be extremely stylish! Recreate my look by shopping the sunglasses here. I have shopped on Eyeconic for sunglasses several times. What I love is the large variety, excellent price point, UV protection and the high quality. You want eye protection, but you also want to look good. As a fashion blogger appearance really does matter but as I stated earlier, eye health and protection are even more important. For even more stylish yet protective eyewear, check out Eyeconic. Thanks for reading and don’t forget your sunnies when you go out!
